Eat Your Books

Using EYBDigital Preview

Cooks and cookbook lovers are visual people. Just as we eat with our eyes first, many cookbook buyers prefer to physically browse through a title at a bookstore or library before making a commitment to purchase the volume.

Now with EYBDigital Previews, you can thumb through pages from a new cookbook without leaving the comfort of your home. You can view a selection of pages from a title - including photographs, illustrations, and complete recipes - with just a click.

EYBDigital Book Preview

To view all the books in the EYB Library that you can preview, just click on the EYBDigital Previews filter on the right-hand side.

In your results, you will see an orange button for the EYBDigital Preview below the thumbnail image of the cookbook cover. Click that button to see the preview.

You can navigate through the book using the left and right arrows. You can also zoom in or out which is especially useful when viewing on a phone.

EYBDigital Recipe Preview

Every preview book has between 2-5 sample recipes and now each of these is available to view and to add to your own recipe collection by adding to your Bookshelf *.

To view all the recipes in the EYB Library that you can preview, just click on the EYBDigital Recipes filter on the right-hand side.

In your results, you will see an orange button for the EYBDigital Recipe below the thumbnail image of the recipe. Click that button to see the preview of the recipe, exactly as it looks in the cookbook.

* Preview Recipes can only be added to your Bookshelf if the book is indexed. The book index can only go live on publication date so after that date you can add those Preview Recipes to your Bookshelf. But if a book is not being indexed then you need to create a Personal Recipe to add it to your Bookshelf recipe searches. You use the URL for the recipe page in the Preview as the Online URL field. There is another Help page on Adding Preview Recipes to your Bookshelf.
