How can I add eBooks / Kindle books to my Bookshelf?
If you cannot find the eBook in the Library it may be linked to an indexed print edition so is hidden from searches. To find it, import the eBook ISBN number in Import Books, accessed under the My Bookshelf tab (this feature is only available for Premium members). If the book is in the Library it will get added to your Bookshelf. If it isn't in the Library we will try to import the eBook data from Amazon. Though Amazon only lists Kindle books so if your eBook is a different format then you need to add the data yourself using our new Member Added Books feature.
We don't have the resources to add all the book data for eBooks manually, especially since we already list the print editions for each book. There are many different eBooks, all with different ISBNs - Kindle, iBook, Kobo, Nook, etc - so it's not just adding one listing for each title but several. If you do not want to add the eBook data yourself then we suggest you add the print books to your Bookshelf then add a Kindle or eBook Bookmark. You can then use the Bookmark filter to just see recipes in your eBooks.
If after importing an eBook you see that there is an indexed print edition that the eBook should be linked to (so the recipes are available in your searches) please just email to info@eatyourbooks.com so we can do that.
