Your Home screen isn't just for App icons - you can add an icon for any website you frequently visit. To avoid having to load your Browser and then type in the EYB URL, you can simply add an icon on your Home screen and with one click be signed in to your Bookshelf. Here's how, using iOS 14.4.
If you find you are still having to sign in each time, add your EYB sign-in in Website & App Passwords in Passwords and Accounts in Settings.
Open Safari on your iPhone or iPad and go to eatyourbooks.com.
Sign in to your EYB account (make sure you select "Keep me Signed In") and go to the page that you wish to return to whenever you click the EYB icon.
Once there, make sure you can see the navigation toolbar by tapping once near the bottom of the screen, which will make it appear.
- On the navigation toolbar at the bottom of the screen, tap the Share icon. (iPad - this icon is at the top of your screen next to the URL bar.
- A Share menu will appear at the bottom of the screen. Use your finger to pull it up and swipe through the list. Tap “Add to Home Screen". (iPad horizontal scroll to "Add to Home Screen" icon).

You can rename the icon label if you want to.
- Click on "Add".
The EYB icon will appear as the last icon on your Home Screen. This can be moved to any position.
